It is an unfortunate reality that 1 IN 3 teens experience abuse from a dating partner while they are in high school. Teen dating abuse is a significant public health issue that affects millions of teens in the United States every year.
During adolescence, teens are learning the skills they need to form positive, healthy relationships with others. Prevention education for teens is designed to prevent the harmful patterns of teen dating abuse that, when left unchecked, can last into adulthood.
Every teen should know the difference between healthy & harmful relationship behaviors. Help your teens by providing them with the knowledge they need to be safe and respected in their relationships.
